Protest against contaminated water

Islamabad Property: The residents of Ali Pur Taramri Chowk have protested against non-supply of clean drinking water by CDA here the other day. The area is thickly populated and most of the population consists of government employees but the CDA made no arrangements to supply clean drinking water to it. “A school teacher, Ali Akber, said, “We do not have much time to bring water from filtration plants operating in remote localities.” “Members of every second family of this area are suffering from abdominal diseases due to use of contaminated water,” said a trader, Khizar Hayat. Social and religious circles have demanded immediate supply of clean drinking water to the area. online
